Kapadwanj Kelavani Mandal is actively involved in combating COVID PANDEMIC since March’2020. We have collaborated with the Government by providing our Hostel building, furnishing local hospitals, providing equipment, assisting in testing.
With the generous help of Shri Jalaj Dani and the Daani Foundation, we have distributed equipment worth INR 20 lakh to various government and non-government agencies. These included ventilators to Nadiad Civil Hospital through local authorities as well as Oxygen Concentrators, PPE Kits, Masks, etc to other covid-19 relief agencies.
Presently Kapadwanj Kelavani Mandal is working as a nodal agency for a group of NGOs based in Kapadwanj and working in covid relief. V S Gandhi Charitable Trust, Indian Red Cross Society, Seva Sangh are working with local health agencies to provide materials and equipment to fight covid.
We are in need of Oxygen Concentrators, Oxygen Cylinders, consumables like Gloves, PPE kits, Masks, water, and day refreshments for front-line workers and in extreme cases-fund for poor patients.
