Since its inception in the year 1940, we have been an integral part of the KKM family. All these years, KKM has done visionary and revolutionary work for the community, and we have a long-enduring bonding with them in giving back to the society. Currently, they are taking their challenges to the next level in providing more efficient education facilities, better healthcare and teaching arts and culture to children as they are our future generation. As a family, we are proud and grateful to have been associated with KKM for all these years.

I am really in touch with the local community and totally understand their needs as our family has lived in the Kapadwanj since more than two centuries. Education is our family’s forte as my grandmother was a school inspector almost a 100 years back, both of my parents left for Africa to teach in Indian Public Schools in the late 1920s, all of my seven grandchildren are University Graduates, and there are 3 doctors in my family. The whole Kapadwanj is like a family to us, and KKM has been doing really impressive and intensive work to improve education for people. Together, we are putting efforts to bring change to the community.

Yes, we can transform many people’s lives through better education and healthcare facilities, and KKM is doing this very well since 1940. We are passionate about our cause to provide a good quality of life to everybody. It is better to give a book in the hand of a needy person than to give a one rupee coin, as education is a long-term solution to eradicate poverty and unemployment from our country. Not just in the form of money, but I believe in leading and urging people to help our society and work right from the grass-roots level to bring a transformation from the inside.

As a child, I have spent most of my summer vacations at Kapadwanj, interacting and learning from Shankarkaka, former president of KKM. I observed the importance of good education for local people and community. Through education, basic skills of writing, calculating and scientific thinking are developed in children, which is very crucial for our country’s overall development. Not only in the field of education, but KKM is also creating a wave of change in healthcare and special skills development in the Kapadwanj area, which enables people to acquire constructive and remunerative jobs. I consider myself to be very lucky and grateful to be able to serve our community as a part of the KKM family.
