5 Girls Qualify for State Level SGFI TT Tournament

We are delighted to share that, under the TT4Change Project of ITTF foundation, implemented by KKM with the support of the DSF, 10 girls from our 6 communities participated in the District Level SGFI Table Tennis Tournament.

We are proud to announce that 5 of them have successfully qualified for the State Level Tournament through their outstanding performance.

🌟 Bridging the Gap (BTG) Camp 🌟

our young participants had an enriching experience at the Bridging the Gap (BTG) Camp. They connected with children from different states and regions of India, built new friendships, and gained a deeper understanding of diverse cultures and backgrounds.

Through engaging gender sessions, they explored the importance of gender equality, learned how society shapes perceptions of girls and boys, and understood that everyone deserves equal respect, opportunities, and dignity.

The camp was filled with exciting activities, including Frisbee, group games, and teamwork exercises that strengthened communication and collaboration. A special Buddy Partner Activity, where each child was paired with a buddy of a different gender, encouraged mutual understanding, cooperation, and helped break gender stereotypes.

Beyond learning, the camp inspired confidence, respect, and openness while creating unforgettable memories and meaningful friendships.

At KKM, we sent young children from our community to the BTG Youth Camp with the objective of nurturing future community leaders who can contribute to sustainable community development while gaining a broader perspective of the world around them.

💙 Together, we are empowering the next generation to lead with empathy, equality, and confidence.

The Museum on Wheels by Citi-CSMVS (Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, Mumbai) arrived at KKM Kapadvanj Campus, bringing history to life!

✅ 2,000+ students visited the Museum Bus
✅ 700+ students & teachers participated in the workshops
✅ Explored 30+ ancient Harappan–Sindhu Saraswati civilization artifacts
✅ Activity-Based Workshop for Social Science teachers

This unique educational opportunity was made available completely free of cost for the students of KKM.

🌞 Summer Camp 2026 | Learning, Playing & Growing Together! 🏓🥏

This summer, Dani Sports Foundation (DSF) and Kapadvanj Kelavani Mandal (KKM) successfully organized a week-long Summer Camp at the KKM campus, bringing together 150 children from six communities—Matria, Marwadivas, Gopalpura, Madarivas, Nagri, and Shantinagar.

Led by our dedicated DSF team and Fellows, the camp created a joyful and inclusive space where children learned, played, and built lasting friendships through sports.

✨ Camp Highlights:
🏓 Exciting Table Tennis coaching and tournament with 100+ participants
🥏 Engaging Frisbee sessions
🎯 Fun-filled play-based activities for younger children
🤝 Mixed-gender participation promoting equality and inclusion
💙 Confidence building, teamwork, discipline, leadership, and sportsmanship

More than just a summer camp, it was a platform where children discovered new skills, gained confidence, formed friendships across communities, and experienced the power of sports to inspire positive change.

As part of its ongoing commitment to educational excellence, Kapadwanj Kelavani Mandal successfully organized a comprehensive training programme for Pre-Primary and Primary School teachers between 1st and 6th June 2026.

The programme was designed to empower educators with modern teaching methodologies, student-centered learning approaches, and the essential skills required to nurture future-ready learners in today's rapidly evolving world.

Throughout the training, participants engaged in insightful sessions led by experienced education experts:

On 12 June 2026, the first-ever Capacity Building Training Program for PE Teachers and Trainers was successfully conducted, bringing together passionate educators committed to enhancing the quality of sports education.

The session was led by Shri Chirag Sailor (DIET Surat), a Physical Education expert with 27 years of experience, along with Mr. Nitin Dalwadi (GCERT Expert). Through interactive discussions and practical learning activities, participants gained valuable insights into effective lesson planning, modern teaching approaches, student well-being, and the role of sports in developing essential life skills.

The program also emphasized the importance of structured warm-up and cool-down practices, creating engaging learning environments, and fostering the holistic development of students through sports and physical education.

A meaningful step towards empowering educators and building a stronger foundation for quality sports education. 💪🏆
